FALLIN it up Once again!!

It has been a busy few weeks, but we are loving every minute! First i went to one of my BEST friend's suprise birthdays and it was fun! Janelle Larsen is now 21 years old! woot woot! she is such a great friend and the cutest little thing! It is wierd going to parties with single people now that i am married! i hate that shane was at work! i only stayed for like ten minutes because it is so different being around all those single people! i feel OLD! haha But being around all the single people makes me even more grateful for shane!! wow i love the married life more then anything!!!

 Shane was the Best Man at our good friend Josh Brinkerhoff's wedding! he married such a great girl named tessa and the reception was gorgeous!! congrats Josh and tessa!!

 These cakes were sooo yummy!! i just couldnt decide which one to choose from! they had everything from snickers cheese cake to carrot cake! such a cute idea!

 Here is the beautiful couple towards the end of the night. We could tell they were soo ready to get out of there!! their colors were yellow and gray! it turned out beautifully! the bummer part was that it decided to rain lots that day so they didnt get pictures outside of the temple. it was so nice the day before and the day after..wierd!! they got some great ones at the reception tho.

 The center Pieces! those little balls are eddible! it took us awhile to figure that out! they are like the sixlet candies! i ate one too many of those!

My mother in law bought me this new nail polish called crackle! i love it! you put it on and it drys and crackles over the color you put on first! its fun! i usually dont paint my fingers but i had to make an exception.

Las Vegas!!!

shane is on his way to Las Vegas as i type this post! he will be interviewed tomorrow for the PA program at Toro! We are so excited that he got an interview and will just have to wait and see what the out come is! if he gets into toro, then we will live next to his cute cousin Mica and her hubby mike! that would be so much fun for us! we are still waiting to hear back on some other options! this is my first time being at home alone without my hubby! shane has had to do it a few times so it serves me right! i am so proud of him and i hope that his interview goes well!!! never thought i would live in Vegas!!

OHH BABY OHH BABY!!

Lisa is having a girl! The Hones have been great friends to us and so i decided to throw a baby shower for lisa! it was so much fun! i went with the zebra and pink theme and i think it turned out great! it was kinda stressful since i had no clue what i was doing, but You Tube and Amy Spain helped me so much!

 Diaper Cake

 The CANDY bar diaper guessing game! you melt a different candy bar into each diaper and the guests have to guess what each one is! and the winners got candy!

 This is where the Mommy to be go to sit and open all her amazing presents! so fun!!

 Amy Spain was such a help to me! she helped me come up with ideas! decorate and LOTS more!

 We wanted to try the chocolate but decided against it considering that it looked like POOP!

 You have to have food!! oh and a chocolate Fountain, thanks to misty kesler, i had plenty of dishes! And i made the tissue flowers while at work. it was so fun and easy to make them!!

 The cake was made by amy! no clue how she pulled it off! i could not have made it! it was six layers and delicious!

busy weekend!!

we have been busy busy this weekend! First we went to the temple on friday after work, there were only 10 people in our session! Then we decided to go to the Drive-ins with our good friends, the Hones! we woke up the next morning and went to the gym, then we drove to Ashton and floated in tubes down the river. Straight from there we went to Shane's work party and i got to meet a lot of really nice people! feeewf..we were so tired but that didn't stop us, we drove straight to Utah and got to stay at Shane's dad's place in Salt lake. It was so fun to see him! he is such a kind and caring guy! love him! we then got to go to one of my best friend's farewells. Courtney Newby is leaving on a mission in three days to Calgary Canada! she will make such a great missionary and she has always been a great example to me!! you go Court!! 

Just Bored...

today at work i sat here for eight hours at the desk and did absolutely nothing just waiting for people to come into the office! this really made me want to pick up on some new hobbies! i do get to watch tv shows, facebook and browse the internet but that is just getting so old!! i did scrap booking for awhile but that just is too expensive..so i started blogging! well this is me being bored!! shane works until pretty late. He has a great job and it gives him hours of experience with PA school. He works with kids from bad homes or anger issues and does a great job!! I just love how hard he works. It isnt always easy but he gets me through it all! woot woot! while he is at work and i get off earlier i go to the gym and get stuff done around the house until he comes home. in two weeks he has his first interview with Toro Pa school in Las vegas! we are praying he has some success there and they like what they see. we will just wait and see. if not there are other schools that we are waiting to hear back from!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KAYLEE and Hello Kitty!!

 Instead of playing Duck Duck Goose we got to play... Hello Hello KITTY!! haha kaylee Loved it!! the best part was instead of having a mush pot in the middle we had Kitty Litter instead (shanes idea)

 Such a Precious family!! wow they grow way to fast but i am glad we get to see them as often as we do!

 

Proud aunt that cant wait to be a mommy someday!!

 Shane was not so good at this game! he had to pin the Bow on Hello Kitty and was wayyy off the paper!!

such a proud uncle! i love seeing him hold the little ones! it is so cute how much he loves being around these kids! He cant get enough of them!! Ethan is always more excited to see uncle shane then aunt kate! haha they played soccer the whole time together, tickle fights and more!!

She had to top off a great bday with an awesome Hello Kitty Cake!! we even had pink lemonade..we had to make sure we had a Pink drink!!

Portland!

Shane and i went to Portland, Oregon with our friends, mike and becky, and we got to see ty and bonnie and their three adorable kids!! It was so fun to get to hold little sawyer for the very first time! Shane is getting better with the whole holding babies thing!! he is so cute with the kids! its fun for me to watch because i know he will be a great daddy! cant believe that ty and bonnie have been married seven years and their kids have grown so much!!! wish we could have stayed longer! while we were there we got to go to the Portland zoo!! we also got to pick berries and just hang out! with the black berries, bonnie taught me how to make some really yummy jam and i have been eating peunut butter and jelly sandwiches every day since!! I was super bummed because my camera died at the zoo and i never got to take pictures of shane and i with ty, bonnie, kimball, ava and sawyer!!!  hope to end up there someday. Portland is such a beautiful place!

This was my first time riding in a train!! and shane just bought the tickets!! i was pretty dang excited!! haha

cheers to One year!!!

Shane Arranged these himself! i thought that was so sweet of him, then i found out that is the cheaper way to go! haha...those of you that know shane, know that he loves to save his money! they were beautiful! Thanks shane!

he even bought a table cloth and made the table so cute! GO HUBBY!!

This was the center piece! yes they look very ugly, but this is where it all began! on our first date we went to walmart to pick out an art project! we got these and painted them and talked! it was fun! and it was so cute that he made them our center piece and now we are MARRIED!!! yahooo

Shane is so excited to eat all this delicious food!! dig in!

We also saved a martinellis from our wedding and popped it open for our one year celebration! i liked this idea way more then saving some cake!!

One Year Anniversary today!!!!

today is our one year anniversary! wow i am so blessed to have a cute hubby in my life! one year ago today i woke up with butterflies in my stomach! i was nervous and excited about everything from how my hair would turn out to how incredible the covenants were that i was making that day with my heavenly father! i have been so blessed because of my opportunity to get married in the temple to shane and am so grateful i was able to have all my family there! the first year has taught me so much about true love. Shane is always there for me and makes me feel so special! 
i remember the first time i really realized that shane would do anything and everything it took to be there for me! it was when i had a bad reaction to my birth control and woke feeling very dizzy and disoriented. i then dropped to the floor and was having some sort of seizure. he called the ambulance and i went to the hospital. they werent sure what it was..maybe a brain tumor? but soon after we were told it was the birth control. i couldnt walk or do much of anything for a couple days and shane slept on the floor next to the couch i was on and took care of me! he even helped me clean up and wash myself and go to the potty! you always wonder if you will be lucky enough to have someone that will take care of you if something bad happens and i know that shane will always be there for me!  ok ok...ill stop the sappy love stuff now!! haha..i am just so happy that i have been so blessed and get to celebrate today!!!! <3

Shane's team did so awesome in there final game! they are now the BYUI champs..love that shane has such a passion for soccer and it is fun when the family comes to cheer him on!! Good job shane!! Ethan was so excited to get to hold the trophy of the Hawk champions! go RED!!
