Shane and i are so excited, nervous, anxious to be parents. i cant believe this time has finally come for us. Seems like just yesterday I was a tiny girl and life was all about mommy and daddy. wierd!! I have been feeling pretty nauseous and tired but it will all be worth it. i hope the worst of it is over but we will see. ill try my best to keep you all posted as much as possible :)

Harper Brinkerhoff's blessing day

We got the opportunity to go to Utah and see Our Best friends, the Brinkerhoffs, bless their sweet, happy beautiful baby girl! she is the most smiley happy baby ever and we just fell in love with her! So happy for them.

Palm Springs with some of our Favorites!

 We got to go to Palm Springs with some of our favorite People to watch Kai play in a UVU baseball Tournament. it was perfect weather. we all got sund burns on one side of our bodies, got to lay out by the pool, eat out and just hang out in the hotel room. it was a much needed relaxing weekend getaway!

 What a tough loss but it was so fun getting to be with family! we are so blessed to have such great couples to hang out with. Best moment was when Shane and Robert tried to sneak Pie in and got kicked out. The had to sit at the entrance and finish eating it until they could come back in. but then the whole rest of the Game there were tons of people bringing food in. for some reason they just didnt like shane?

Valentines day!

 Shane is always so good at making me feel special for Valentines day. he got me flowers and the sweetest note, and he also suprised me when i got home from work with a GLUTEN Free Pizza made from scratch and some chocolate mouse! what a Hunk! I got him a new cell phone case he had been wanting. His favorite Soccer team the Sounders!! of course he loved it! We also saved our "go out to eat money" that night Since the restaurants would all be so packed and it wouldn't be so fun, and instead we went to Ross and each picked out a new outfit! best idea we ever had! Ross was empty and we had some great finds! thanks shane :)

A Very Merry Christmas!

 Sorry this post is soo late! We have been pretty busy. i work long days and by the end of the day i just want to crash! same with shane. he is a study machine. I am however very proud of our christmas sweaters that i made. I went to goodwill and bought old stockings and cut them up and also found these sweaters and BAM! we have ourselves some ugly sweaters! it was fun. but i didnt have a sewing machine and so it was pretty tough hand sewing it all on! 

 Love White Elephant gifts, especially when we get a Mexican VHS and statue, oh and lets not forget the Sombrero!!! 

 It is fun having parties with the PA group!

 This is my friend Kathryn. Moving to Vegas was a pretty scary thing for me. We had so many friends in Rexburg and felt so comfortable there, not to mention i actually could hang out with Shane when we lived there too. Now he is always studying. It has also been hard because i have to work a lot so i dont have a lot of time to hang out with anyone. Kathryn is in my ward here. we actually met at the gym. we happened to work out right next to each other and then realized we were in the same ward. we then became workout buddies and the rest is history! I am so glad to have her so we can go to the 99 cent store and temple together. what a life eh? i know that heavenly father put her in my life for a reason! i am also grateful that we have our PA friends and of course Mike and Mica Barret (cousins) too! we are getting more used to it here and enjoying it!

 California!!!!

 It was a small group of us for Christmas but it was so fun! we enjoyed every minute of it and got spoiled while we were there! it went by way too fast!

 This has been my view everynight after the gym. i come home and listen to christmas music by the fire while shane studies! it is the best feeling ever when i get to relax by a warm fire. 

 Scott and Janel got the BEST white elephant gift! it was a date in a bag! what sexy undies they got

 Here is shane getting to hold baby Dakota for the first time! she is too cute. this is my best friend Sharyl's baby. it is so fun seeing my friends have kids. especially when the kids look so much like them! little Dakota looks a lot like sharyl

Blogger Acoma!

Sorry that i have been gone for so long from my blog. i am usually pretty good at updating it! for some reason when i went to add my thanksgiving pictures it wouldnt let me and said that i have reached my limit of pictures for my blog!! LAME! well My awesome friend told me that all i have to do is add another email to the account and then i can download pictures using that account and not my old one! yahooo..so i should be up and running again! so much to catch up on with Christmas in California, New Years, and some other random stuff. It will take me awhile but i will get updates....PROMISE! and Late MERRY CHRISTMAS and a Happy new year!

Holy COWboys!!

Shane and i had so much fun dressing up with for our party with all the PA gang. We had to come with a theme and bring a desert that matched. I was of course..a COW and shane was a Cowboy! such a cute cowboy at that! we even brought brown cows as dessert! that is vanilla ice cream with chocolate milk poored over it. YUMMY! thanks Janel and Scott for such a fun party :) i usually cant get shane to dress up but he was a good sport this year!!

Funny story behind the cow costume...When i was in third grade i was kinda a chunker. the chubby kid in class. I tried out to be the main part in my school play of Charlottes Webb. i was set on being Charlotte! instead they put me as a COW and all i said in the play was.."MOOOOOO" the whole time! sad right?? haha this is that very costume from third grade and yes i was chunky so the costume still fits me to this day but i had to be a cow to get over that awful scarring experience as a child! thank goodness i have a cute cowboy by my side that always makes me feel beautiful no matter what, even if im a cow! haha

 The boys! we had a pirate, baker, the mad hatter, the cutest cowboy ever, a lion and Harry Potter! 

 And of course the gals! another pirate, queen of hearts, cow, bun in the oven, zebra and another harry Potter Character!

Night out on the Town

BEATLES LOVE SHOW!!

My parents are so fun and goofy! it is so wierd that having your parents with you on a night out on the town used to be not so cool and embarrassing but once you grow up it is so fun and you cant get enough time with them!! having them here was the best and it went by way too fast!

I didnt get the right timing on my jump but my dad is the bomb and he did! haha

My parents are so in love and i love it! i have learned a great deal about a good marriage from them! they still hold hands and i can see that they truly care for one another. I am glad that i have had their example in my life so that i know how to work on my own marriage! :) This trip was my parents last big trip before my moms scary surgery. she is getting her discs on her spine fused together and has been so scared about it. there is a chance she could not be able to talk again because of where they have to go in through her neck. There are also many other scary risks, but my mom has been in so much pain for so many years that it is worth those risks so that she can live without so much constant pounding pain. and she will also get feeling back in her arms!! yay!

Dont you love shanes shirt! i picked it out myself! he is just so good looking and kind to me! our marriage truly does just keep getting better and better as the years pass. He knows me better then ever and i know him better then ever as well. We make such a great team! go us!

I love watching my dad and Shane hang out! they have become good buddies and i love that becasue my dad and i are pretty close so it means a lot to me that he likes my awesome hubby. all you girls out there know what i am talking about ! there is something special about having your dad and hubby joke around together!!
