Feeling GRATEFUL!

What a great life i have! i have a great husband who loves and cares for me! We both have great jobs and work with good people! We are both healthy and motivated to work out and stay in shape!  We are in a great ward and have the best family on both sides that love and support us through everything. We were both raised in the Gospel and know with all our hearts that it is the True Church. We are surrounded by great people here and sometimes i just need to stop and take a look around and enjoy the moment. I tend to get so caught up in day to day tasks that i forget how much i have to be grateful for and how lucky i am!! I am so grateful for our friends here and the love that i constantly feel from those around me as well as my heavenly father. He knows us so well and knows exactly what we need and when we need it, all we need to do is the best we can and trust in him to help us where we fall. Shane and i are headed to Henderson Nevada in June and leaving good ole rexburg Idaho will be pretty hard. we love everything and everyone that we have met here, but on to new adventures and opportunities. THANK YOU everyone for being so kind to us!

The ways to a Women's Heart!

 Surprise surprise.. Shane spoiled me again! We will be very Busy on Valentines day and so he surprised me early with two dozen roses! what a stud he is!!! I feel very blessed to have him for a husband! its the little things and surprises like this that help a girl feel special and keep those butterflies and sparks in a Marriage! the flowers are gorgeous and smell good too..Thanks Shane <3

 Shane knows i just love gum so along with the flowers he gave me two packs of my favorite flavor..Sweet Mint Orbit!! yummm....

To Top it all off he made some amazing chocolate mouse! it is to die for! we made it last Valentines day and decided to make it this year too...TRADITION!! 

Chocolate + Flowers + a handsome Husband= A perfect Valentines day :)

 

It is always harder to know what to get you Husband on Valentines day! you cant get them flowers and the cute stuff they have at the stores, so you have to be more creative. I decided to make him a coupon book. it was fun making it and thinking of all the things i could do for shane. 

some coupon examples...

• Good for a ten minute back massage
• Good for a Yummy Dinner
• Good for a frozen Yogurt run
• Detail and wash both cars
• Do all the dishes for a week
• 20 minute Head Scratch
• Clean the Whole apartment
• fold and put away all you clothes

And there were many other ones. i just wish i could give Shane the world! i wish i could buy him everything, but this was fun because i love being able to do things for him and i know he feels bad sometimes asking. Now he has to use these coupons, which means he has to ask me!! muahaha

 This was such a great day with the Ty n Bonnie Haas Family! they now have two cute kids and little jacob is already growing so fast. we are glad we got to go to the baby blessing of this little guy!!!

BUSY BUSY being a nanny!

wow..this past month has been crazy busy! shane and i both have our full time jobs but we also nanny many of the families in our ward while their parents leave for weekend getaways or big vacations! right now we are staying at the Erikson home. they have five boys and their parents have gone to Hawaii for a week! LUCKY them!! We love this family and it is fun, we get to eat great food, sleep in a comfy bed and we actually have tv. At our Apartment we dont get television. The nannying can get pretty stressful when trying to juggle our full time jobs and these kids. In order for us to do this, shane and i need to have opposite schedules and so while im at work he is with the kids and then we switch. not much time for us two to see each other because we also switch off each day and going to the gym, but we love getting the extra money and we are saving as much as we can for Shane's PA school (it starts in July)! below are just a few pictures of the boys we are watching right now! soo cute :)

we are watching a different family for president's day weekend and then the following week after that we will be watching a little family of four with a baby, while their parents go to Cabo. oh how i wish that we could be the ones traveling to these cool islands and tropical getaways! maybe someday :) I am sorry i have been a bad blogger lately, but we have been overloaded with kids this month and i really havent put much thought into it, or taken many pictures! i will post some soon though :)
